He Is So In Love With You -Day 2

I was listening to Musiq’s song, “Love of my Life” and a thought hit me. How often does God sing over us about his relentless love, his sacrifice, his passion for us and we never hear the song?  We love our R&B’s greatest hits but the greatest love song ever shared is the Father’s song over us. He is singing over us daily but do we take the time to hear it? The bible says ,“ The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 I love this verse because it shows me God’s heart. A loving parent sings lullabies to their baby whom they are obsessed with. Imagine every morning God is singing songs of blessing over you. Throughout the fast in your quiet time spent with the Lord, hear the song he is singing specifically over you. When you’re reading the bible and praying meditate on how ..The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Psalms 145:8 He is not mad at you, disappointed in your short comings, irritated with you, or impatient with your progress. His wrath was placed on Jesus. Because Christ took our place and our punishment we are able to always appear as perfection in God’s eyes. The bible testifies..And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10 The undeserving become always loved, always blessed, and the constant receiver of unmerited favor.

According to Romans 8:38-39... I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate you from the love of God. What happens often is we don’t forgive ourselves from past mistakes and we allow the enemy to lie to us about  how God sees us. This makes us feel condemned, yet Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Condemnation makes us run or hide from God. Adam and Eve did this in the garden. They fell into sin and when God came into the garden to commune, they hid. You know what God in his mercy did when he found them, he clothed them. In their nakedness, in their sin, he covered them.  You believer are covered in a blanket of love and forgiveness. Our sins are far removed from us as far as the east is from the west. (Psalms 103:12) Dwell on that! As you go through the fast give God your ear to hear his love song, he is so in love with you. Let his love build you up, heal you, invigorate you, and make you strong.

Love you!
