He Is Delighted With You- Day 12

Today, I’ll just keep it simple. The Lord is delighted with you. When he spoke this into my spirit I was like, “ Great, and what else do I need to share today?” He allowed me to take a pause. I felt his leading to chill on always looking for more and to rest in this simple fact. The Lord is delighted with me. It was just enough.

To be delighted is to be highly pleased. God is pleased, satisfied, He is in love, and He is enamored with you! This gives me so much joy. Breathe this thought in, The Lord is delighted with me. Close your eyes and relish in this truth. It lifts the heaviness in our hearts that we often carry as human beings. Know that God is not mad at you, He is not disappointed in your failures or worried about our human shortcomings. Jesus took all of that on the cross , so that God could forever be pleased with his children. This understanding calms our fears, rids us of anxiety, and gives rest to our souls! It also allows us to feel comfortable to receive what we need from the Father. We can accept his provision when we constantly remind ourselves of how good He is. This also makes us better believers, we grow in desire to please God when our hearts our set upon him.
