What Are You Waiting For?

,,,because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.

1 Corinthians 16:9

One of the amazing ‘perks’ of being a believer is the ability to dream big. God desires for us to do amazing things for his kingdom. While fasting we have made room to hear the Lords amazing plans for us, don’t be afraid of accomplishing your wildest dreams. Visualize your mountain top, write down those goals, seek accountability, and most of all listen to the spirit. What are you waiting for? Go be who God has called you to be.

Say these affirmations with me:

I believe in myself and in my goals

  1. I am learning to trust myself to achieve my goals

  2. I am 100% committed to making my goals a reality

  3. I have the power and ability to achieve my goals

  4. I take action towards my goals every day

  5. I know that anything is possible when I take action

  6. I know that I can achieve anything I set out to do

  7. I am seeing consistent results from my actions

  8. I am motivated and energized to achieve my goals

  9. Every day, I am closer and closer to achieving my goals

  10. I am easily able to find any resources I require to achieve my goals

  11. I enjoy taking action to make my goal a reality

  12. I am able to accomplish anything I set my mind to

  13. I know that I will achieve my goal

  14. I can do this I will!

Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.

The world is is need of the gifts God has placed inside of you.

Is Your Good, Good Enough?

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. His loving devotion endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His loving devotion endures forever.… Psalms 136:1 -2

I don’t question myself much anymore. I don’t go through a list of reasons why I suck or ask God “Am I good enough?”. At this point in my life I have fully surrendered to the thought that God is good enough. Therefore, if he has accepted me into his loving arms, into his family I too am good (because my Father is good). I am not good in and of myself …I AM GOOD -YOU ARE GOOD because he has made us good.

Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

John 15:15  I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

1st Corinthians 1:30 God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

Sadly; depression, suicide, and anxiety continues to rise among believers and non-believers. The root for many cases, certain studies has shown begins with negative thoughts about oneself. This is why it is so important to believe what God says about you.

You are loved.

You are worthy.

You deserve good things.

You are blessed.

You are favored.

You are good enough.

Matthew 7:11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Your good is good enough…in God.

Hear the Still, Small voice-Day 16

[ Ask, Seek, Knock ] “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7

The key to finding answers lies in your ability to search. God has wondrous things he desires to share with you yet, we get caught up in the fast paced movement of life forgetting to quiet ourselves in order to hear him speak!

1The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Kings 19:11-13

I hear far to often Christians say, “Im going through this bad thing because God is trying to speak to me, or this wild thing happened in order to teach me a lesson.” Although God works out life’s crazy mishaps for our good, he doesn’t create madness in our lives for us to hear him. (James 1:13 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone) Many accuse God of the madness but forget he is in the “gentle whisper”. He is mighty, strong, and powerful but he is also; “ …. the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.” Exodus 34:6-7

So seek him this week and let Him be ‘found’ by you. Ask those hard questions and seek his perfect and blessed will for your life. God is always speaking.

Fasting often clears space in our lives to actually hear the voice that was speaking all along. God doesn’t move or “speak more” because we’re fasting he has BEEN MOVING! While committing to a consecration, what happens is we finally steady ourselves, getting into the rhythm of his flow. The Lord, and his word is like a river. When we jump in and immerse ourselves in it, instead of standing on the sidelines we began to move. Don’t be a stagnant believer (unwilling to grow/mature) because you are afraid of what will happen when you jump in. Growing in God has great rewards. The water of the Lord won’t drown you! He won’t ruin your life and turn you into someone you can’t bare to be. The Lord and His rivers of love will carry you to your best self, your ultimate destiny, and divine purpose!

Your strong relationship with the Lord- Your good and godly life isn’t just for you! It is for others to see how great God is and desire to know him as well. Be a bright and shining example of his goodness this week.

Just To Be Clear-Day 15

Just to be clear, there’s room in Gods arms for you. Sometimes we forget that He is just a prayer away. When life is overwhelming , confusing, or cloudy just run to the Lord . Whenever you’re in doubt, remember …For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrew 13:5

There’s Room At The Cross-Song

The cross upon which Jesus died
Is a shelter in which we can hide
And its grace so free is sufficient for me
And deep is its fountain as wide as the sea.

There's room at the cross for you
There's room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there's still room for one
Yes there's room at the cross for you.

Though millions have found him a friend
And have turned from the sins they have sinned
The Savior still waits to open the gates
And welcome a sinner before it's too late.

The hand of my Savior is strong
And the love of my Savior is long
Through sunshine or rain, through loss or in gain,
The blood flows from Calvary to cleanse every stain.

Love you!

A Poem for Perseverance-Day 13

When all is spent and your afraid, persevere and take it day by day.

When failure tries to call your name ignore its cry and watch your own lane.

Keep your eyes steady on the prize and when your tired don’t change your pace.

Persevere, take it day by day!

There are times you may want to quit, the task at hand you may feel you’re unfit.

But you were made to overcome it..

Whatever IT is that stands in your way , don’t forget things change when you pray.

If you ever feel like your alone, the Lord is always by his phone.

No, the goal isn’t to be cliche ,

I know things change when you call on his name.

Persevere take it day by day, on the other side of struggle is your brighter day.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes.…
